Crystals For Travelling

Posted by Gemma Broom on

As we are now very close to Summer and thinking about venturing on a "staycation" or a holiday overseas, it is worth thinking about packing some crystals to help with any travel tension. Here are some of my top tips for gemstones to take or wear on your next trip away.

Amethyst is the perfect calming and relaxing crystal, so it's great when you're in the hustle and bustle of the airport and then might be a little excited or anxious about venturing off into the unknown.

Moonstone is known as the traveler's stone and is thought to protect you and your belongings on your journey. As well as wearing some Moonstone, you could also pop a crystal in your suitcase to help keep it safe.

Smoky Quartz is thought to be a good stone for protection whilst traveling. It also helps to dispel negative energy and tensions which might help you navigate that hectic motorway, train station or airport.

Malachite is said to help if you happen to have a fear of flying and is believed to protect you if you are travelling by air.

Yellow Jasper can help you to remain stable and balanced and is used to help combat motion sickness. Perfect for long road trips or travel by boat.

Hematite is well known for its grounding and calming properties. When you've been in different modes of transport and surrounded by lots of new people, its a great stone to help you relax into things when you reach your destination.

Do you carry crystals or wear particular stones with you on your journeys? I would love to hear your recommendations too.
