One of my missions for 2020 is to try to reduce the plastic waste from both Little Gems Jewels and my home. I love our planet and want to do as much as I can to make sure that I'm not sending anything out to my lovely customers that will add any more plastic to the world.
At the end of last year I introduced new gift boxes which are made in the UK from 100% recycled card. They are delivered to me flat and I then fold each one together by hand. This folded design means there is absolutely no nasty glue involved either.
All of your orders are now posted out in Jiffy Green envelopes which use recycled paper padding to keep your jewels safe instead of those pesky plastic bubbles.
As well as recycling and reusing everything I can, I am also eliminating plastic from my house a little at a time. I have been down many a Pinterest rabbit hole reading about what we can all do to reduce plastic.
