Your order information is retained for as long as is necessary to fulfil your order and then kept on file to comply with legal and tax requirements - up to six years.

Your account information is retained for as long as you maintain an account. 

How does Little Gems Jewels use your information

NEWSLETTER - When you choose to subscribe to the Little Gems Jewels newsletter the personal information that you provide is collected. We use this information to let you know about new products, offers and services available at Little Gems Jewels. 

We use a third-party provider, Spoks, to deliver the newsletter to you. This enables us to gather statistics about email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help monitor and improve the newsletter. For more information, please see Spok's Privacy Policy.

You can unsubscribe to the Little Gems Jewels newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of your email, or by contacting us directly gemma@littlegemsjewels.co.uk

ORDERS - When you place an order on the Little Gems Jewels website your order details and contact information are stored on Shopify. Encrypted payment details are either processed by Stripe or PayPal depending on your chosen payment method. The personal information that you provide for delivery of your order is processed through my website integration with Royal Mail. You can access Royal Mail’s Privacy Policy for more details

CLEARPAY - If you choose to use Clearpay to spread the cost of your order you will be redirected to the Clearpay website where your personal information will be subject to Clearpay's Privacy Policy.

KLARNA - In order to offer you Klarna’s payment methods in the checkout process your personal data data in the form of contact and order details will be passed to Klarna, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna’s own privacy notice.

COOKIES - Cookies are small data files which are placed on your computer or other devices (such as smart ‘phones or ‘tablets’) as you browse this website. They are used to ‘remember’ when your computer or device accesses the Little Gems Jewels website. 

Cookies collect information about browsing and purchasing behaviour when you access this website via the same computer or device. This includes information about pages viewed, products purchased and your journey around a website.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS - We use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect information when you visit Little Gems Jewels. It collects standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We use this service so that we can gather details about which parts of our website are most visited so that we can provide the best products and service to our customers. This information is processed without identifying you, so none of your personal information is used.

FACEBOOK PIXEL - We use a third-party service, Facebook Pixel, that collects and shares information with us about our Facebook customer's browsing and buying behavior at Little Gems Jewels. This service applies to Facebook users. You can find out more by visiting the Facebook Data Policy Page.

EU WITHDRAWAL FORM - In the context of electronic withdrawal, we process your name, email address, and order number. The processing is carried out by our processor Revoq. Further information can be found in the Revoq Data Processing Agreement.
